Slice the prosciutto into strips.
In a large saute pan heat olive oil over medium heat and add the prosciutto. Fry until crispy.
Add the frozen peas and smashed garlic.
Mix and add salt & pepper.
Continue to cook until peas are tender, about 10 minutes.
Add your cream to the prosciutto and peas. Let this simmer for about 5 minutes to reduce the cream a bit.
Meanwhile get your pasta water going and cook pasta according to package directions.
When your tortellini are cooked, add them to you pan with the sauce and mix until combined. Turn off the heat and add the Parmesan cheese. This should thicken the sauce (add more cheese for thicker sauce). Remove the garlic if desired ( I don't).
Serve topped with extra Parmesan cheese.
