batch
classsic tomato sauce or jarred sauce
about 4 cups-more if you like it saucy
1
8 ounce container
mascarpone cheese
at room temperature
1
8 ouce package
mixed Italian shredded cheese
4 cheese or 5 cheese blend
1
pound
penne pasta
salt & pepper
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cook your pasta according to package directions. Cook about a minute or two less than directions call for. Drain and set aside.
In a large sauce pot warm the tomato sauce over medium heat.
Drop the heat to low and slowly add the mascapone cheese.
Continue to melt the cheese until it is pinkish in color.
Pour your cooked pasta into a large baking dish. Pour the sauce over top of the pasta. Mix together.
Add the packaged cheese mix and mix it into the pasta.
Bake about 20 minutes or until cheesy and golden brown.
Serve!
